German exchange program HHS

Last school year Heritage High School in Lynchburg, VA started a new German exchange program with a high school in Stahnsdorf, a suburb of Berlin. We had excellent last year of exchange both in USA and during our return visit in Germany. In October 2014, second group from Germany was hosted at HHS.
6 HHS students and 2 EC Glass students accompanied by 2 teachers are planning this year's visit from 6/18/15 to 7/3/15. The accommodation and meals are provided by hosts. Students need to collect funds for transportation in and around Berlin, as well as tickets for museums. We would like to raise money to defray the costs for our students on this trip.
Any donation is appreciated. Thank you for your support of this wonderful intercultural exchange, which provides our students a unique opportunity to learn the language by being immersed in the country where it is spoken.
