HFH Cambodia & Hays Pure Water Trip

Help us get to Cambodia!
Aaron and I have taken on a great project through Habitat For Humanity; one that will take us to Cambodia to help build houses, and/or help the entire community by digging wells and providing healthier sanitation solutions. UPDATE: We will also be distributing water purification systems by Hays Pure Water (www.HaysPureWater.com)! Each one can provide safe drinking water for thousands of people per day. Each dollar we raise that goes above the minimum needed for our trip will go towards buying additional systems to take with us!
For those of you not familiar with Habitat, it is a charity that relies on volunteer assitance, but also requires the selected homeowners to work on their own homes and the homes of others chosen. The organization is one I have worked with locally, and have witnessed the incredible difference it can make to families, without asking that they set aside their dignity. It puts a hammer in their hand so that they feel a part of the creation of their family's home, and helps them put down roots so that they can begin to grow.
We are super excited about this trip, and the possibility that we could also be working to improve the water and sanitation of the area, as well. But we need your help!
The money raised will go towards the flights for the two week trip, a donation to Habitat for Humanity, and the program package costs (all inclusive: hotels, food, transportation) for two people. A major part of the expense is the airline cost, which goes up as we get closer to our Feb 13th trip date.

Please pitch in and help send two very pale, could weather aclimated Ohioans out into the Cambodia heat to dig big holes, carry tons of bricks, and mix more buckets of concrete than we care to mention. It seems our idea of a vacation is a little different than the run of the mill beah trip. ;)
