Let's win the WORLD CUP!!

Donation protected

First off, I want our Nation to WIN the World Cup.  There it is.  I said it, and my 501(c)3 Charitable Organization, Goals For Glory is here to help.

At Goals For Glory, we build soccer rebounding walls for towns, cities, schools, and soccer clubs that allow kids to become great through PRACTICE.

Practice is where heroes are born, and legends are made.

The walls focus on allowing kids to:

-Work on 1st Touch
-Increase Touches on Ball
-Increase Shots on Goal
-Work on Muscle Memory
-Maximize Repitition
-Work on Passing
-Work on Footwork
-Work on Goal Keeping
-Work on Heading
-Stay engaged
-Ability to Pracitice Alone
-Increase Speed, Stamina, Strength
-Great for Small Groups

I started Goals For Glory after realizing the financial commitment many of our parents have to invest in order for their kids to play on certain teams.  Many of these clubs and teams cost $2000.00 a year just to be on, not counting the traveling expenses or time commitment on the part of the parents.

The financial commitment would make sense, if we, the USA, were winning the World Cup every year.  But we're not.  Not even close!  We are actually ranked 27th in the world currently.  27th!

I look at these walls like the basketball hoop.  Where would Michael Jordan be without 2000 shots a day?  What if he were just big, strong, and fast, but couldn't shoot?  We put hoops up in every school and park, and the USA was the best in the World, year, after year, after year.  We gave the kids like Jordan the tools they needed to become great.

Goals For Glory wants to do that with the rebounding wall!  We want these at every school, every park.  The walls can be great for friends and family, or a place for a kid wanting to be the next Messi an opportunity to chase their dreams.

I agree that the clubs that allow kids to compete at a higher level are great, but what if the kid or family can't afford it?  What if they live in an area that doesn't even have a soccer team?  Do we forget about these kids?  NO!  We give them the tools they need to succeed.  We provide them a place to dream!  We allow them to develop a work ethic, a desire to succeed.  We don't allow finances or geographic location to hold anyone back.

In addition, the kids already pushing themselves in competitive clubs have a chance to push themselves even harder.  A chance to take 500 shots a day while working on the first touch and footwork every time the ball comes back!

These walls are 8x24, and the preferable space allocated is 55x70 yards.  The walls consist of 12 sheets of plywood, 7-12 foot beams, cement/concrete, some nails, and stain.  The holes need to be dug by a machine and are secured by cement/concrete.  They cost around $2000.00 to build each wall.  That's right.  $2000.00 helps an entire community!

Goals For Glory needs your help.  Every dollar helps and every donation brings us closer to another wall.  We need this for our kids, for our communities, for our future.  Not every kid will go pro, but it's the opportunities we create that can lead to greatness.

The 1st wall, built in Ault, CO was a perfect example of the community can come together.  The Mayor, Butch White, volunteered to dig the holes.  The cement company, United Ready Mix, donated the concrete.  Sunrise Lumber gave us a discount on wood.  Farmers Bank donated the money for the Lumber.  And the city cleared an old abandoned field to make this possible.  The whole town came together for kids and an opportunity to bring a community together :-)
