For the first time in many years the women's GB national team will participate in the world championship qualifiers. We have been training really hard for the last two years to get this far and are unbelievably proud to be representing our country.
The whole team will do everything possible to make it to the world championships in Finland in December 2015. To get that far we will be participating in the qualification tournament from 3rd - 8th of February 2015 in Nitra, Slovakia.
We are all saving hard to be able to afford this trip, but the costs are high. Each player has to pay £700 for tournament fees, accommodation, referee costs, matching tracksuits and transport within Slovakia. In addition to this we have to get to Slovakia somehow which involves even more costs. For the whole team (20 players + coaches) this adds up to about £16'000. If we could at least get half the amount that would put us well on our way! Every little bit helps!
So please, even if it's just £5 we'd be very grateful and with all your support we'll be able to show the world that Great Britain is a team to be reckoned with at the World Championships 2015.
