Foster A Friend

James is a very sweet, gentle, well-spoken 64 year old man who needs your compassion.  He has spent the past eleven years cold, wet, hungry and invisible.  James has no family, no home, and until recently... no hope.  An angel disguised as a St Johns County paramedic responded to an incident which resulted in James spending several days in the hospital.   He felt compelled to help James get on his feet, out of the elements, and back to living a purpose filled life. 

James was released from the hospital yesterday, Dec. 12, and some very generous souls made sure he did not go back on the cold streets last night.  We need to give James that sense of security EVERY night!  The local home-less shelters are not a viable option for him, as his physical ailments and age make him a vulnerable target for the very few possessions he has (a coat and a bible).
