Fort Sask Catholic Schools Playground Society

**UPDATE: We have received news that we are near the top of the list for the CFEP grant! But unfortunately, the ICIP grant we were banking on with CFEP is not being awarded until Spring. Without the ICIP grant to match, we are needing to fundraise 50% ourselves instead of the original 10%. That means we need to really work hard in the next month and do everything we can so we can have the money to go with our grant and get JP2's playground built!!

Let's get these kids playing on a structure, instead of a parking lot!! Donations are tax-deductible. We accept, cash, cheque, credit and go fund me! Please contact us at [email redacted] with any questions!

Business owner and want to do a big donation? Contact us and we can discuss having your name embossed on a sign or part of the equipment! or maybe you want to do in-kind work? Please reach out!

November 7th, 2019**

This past school year the Fort Saskatchewan Catholic schools transitioned from 3 schools to 4. We gained a new high school, our junior high was moved to the old high school building and our elementary school was split into two schools and a little less than half the students were sent to the old junior high school turned elementary.

With that being said we now have junior high students (Grades 5-8) at St. John Paul ll in a school that has no playground or equipment for the students to play on. We have Pre-K - Grade 4 students at Our Lady of the Angels playing on very old equipment that was designed for junior high aged children.  At St. John XXIII (Pre-K - Grade 4) we have a tarmac space that has been destroyed by the movement of portables and construction.

We have decided to break this huge task into 3 phases.
Phase 1 -St. JP2
Phase 2 - OLA
Phase 3- SJ23

We have applied/will be applying for several grants for this and if we receive the grants we are hoping for, then the amount we must raise will vary.

Please share this Go Fund Me with everyone you can, we also need a lot of help with events. If you would like more info about volunteering please email us at [email redacted] you may also check out our Facebook page 'Fort Saskatchewan Catholic Schools Playground Society'

Donations are eligible for a tax receipt

The Fort Saskatchewan Catholic Schools Parent Society and students are very grateful for any donation.

All large sponsors will be provided with full acknowledgment in our public announcements when the playground is built. We would also be pleased to meet with you to discuss the opportunity to have your company name imprinted or embossed on a sign or specific piece of playground equipment.
