Help us get home for Christmas

In May 2016 I was layed off with several other people from our company due to lagging sales at a job that I loved dearly.
When I was working there I looked forward to getting up every day and actually going to work.
Since that time I have been unable to find work in the same field. Unfortunately the new laws in North Carolina limit the unemployment benefits to a maximum cap of $350.00 per week and with a maximum amount of weeks set to 13.
My benefits have run out and I am no longer getting this income. Since being unemployed my wife and I are struggling to make ends meet.
Family is very important to both of us! However, we live 700 miles away from most of our family, so we try to see them every Christmas and be with all of them at the same time and catch up on what has happened during the year as well as spend some time enjoying the holidays with them.
This Christmas may be a bust for us since we do not have the funds to get home to see them all.
I know my wife and I have helped many over the years (When we have had the funds) to have Christmas (Christmas Cheer Programs and kids), School Supplies, Food, etc. To us it felt good to give to those in need, and the bible teaches us we should do that whenever possible (Deuteronomy 15 and also in Mattew 6).
Please consider helping us to not have a Blue Christmas this year. Any little donation you can help with would be greatly appreciated.
I hated putting this campaign online, because it makes me feel like I am not adequete enough to support our family. And as a man, that hurts deep inside me.
