A Beautiful Life Ended Too Soon

Imagine:  Your a mother, you go to check on your child in the middle of the night like you always do, but this time, something was different, something was wrong; he isn't breathing. You call 911 and the paramedics come, but they tell you it's too late, there's nothing they can do to save your child's life. 

This happened to a very close friend of mine yesterday morning.  Elijah was eleven years old and would have started 5th grade this year. He was so excited, he loved school! He loved to play video games and sports. But most of all, Elijah loved his family! His younger sister, Jersie, is his best friend!

Elijah has had some medical issues since he was born, including severe asthma.  As any parent that has a child with medical needs knows, this can get very expensive! The family was doing their best to maintain and then were hit with one of the most devasting incidents possible.  Nobody prepares for the death of a child, because nobody wants to believe that it can happen to you. The last thing this family needs is to lose anything else trying to give their son the burial he deserves.
