Devastating Fire in El Capitan

Spende geschützt
Early Saturday 7/30/17 in our tiny community of El Capitan in Sebastian, Fl, a fire ravaged & completely destroyed one of the homes. It was a total loss. It  belonged to Rich Rowe, a disabled Coast Guard Veteran & his constant companion, Sam (Samantha).  He adopted Sam several years ago and she CHANGED  his life. His outlook was brighter now, he smiled more, she was truly his lifesaver.

Rich was found unconscious outside his home. He was treated by Paramedics on the scene and taken Sebastian River Medical Center with second & third degree burns and smoke inhalation.  As of 8/2/17, he remains in the ICU.

The neighbors look around the area for Sam, hoping she got out.  Unfortunately she did not.  Firefighters found her body, but it was too late. My husband and I took Samantha's body to Highlands Animal Hospital in Sebastian, where she will be cremated and she will be returned to Rich when he is well. We want Rich to be able to grieve and say goodbye to his beautiful, faithful dog.

He lost his entire world that morning.... Please find it in your heart to donate and no donation is too small. All proceeds will be given to him so he can start over.

Please share his story so we can help make his homecoming a little easier for him..... Thanks.
