Help a fireman save his family farm
Donation protected
We moved from the city into the country to pursue our dreams in 2009. One of our goals is to give people a place to come to get refreshed and to relax. We want to have a working dairy farm with individual cabins for people to come and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Kenny in his Richardson Fire Department bunker gear. He has been working there since 2003.
This is me getting loved on from one of our myotonic goats.
This is some of our diary goats having graze time.
As most of you know we have been expanding our farm with dairy goats and bunnies this year. So far we have been successful but have a major set back. Kenny has had ongoing back problems that has not improved so his neuro surgeon says the only choice at this point is surgery. The surgery will require him to be in recovery for 5-6 months. He doesn't have any vacation/sick time available from his fireman/paramedic job.
We just found out today that we owe about $20,922 if paid by Jan 6th on our farm if after Jan 6th it is $21,670.43and it has to be paid by January 12, 2015 or they will foreclose on our farm.
Plus we will need living expense money for the next 5-6 months.
Please help us keep our farm! Any amount that you give is very much appreciated! And if you can't donate please help us by sharing this with others.
