North Philadelphia Youth Building Their Own School

The Young Legends are a group of youth thirteen and under in the neighborhood of 24th Street and Oxford Av at a community garden called "The Peace Park" Under the leadership of HipHip Party for the People they have taken the current education crisis in Philadelphia into their own hands.

Using the techniques of "Earth Ship" building that is being used all across the world. The Young Legends are making history building a school house that will act as a School, After School Program, Summer Camp, and Meeting Place For the community.
We are now in phase one building the foundation and look to be done phase one by Nov 22.
If you'd like to get involved hands on The Young Legends are will be out on week days 3pm-6pm, Sundays 11pm-4, and Saturdays are informal
