Joseph Mansonet Eagle Scout Project

My name is Joseph Mansonet and I am member of Boy Scout Troop 12, Edison, New Jersey.  I have been involved in the Boy Scouts since the first grade, and it has been an integral part of my life ever since. Scouting has taught me what it means to be a good person, to be a good citizen, and to be a good leader.

I am currently working towards achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor one can receive in the Boy Scouts. In order to achieve this goal, I must complete a service project that would benefit the community.

 For my project, I would like to construct a sand volleyball court at Edison High School. A sand volleyball court would be a great way to bring the Edison High School community together while enhancing school spirit.

My plans for a sand volleyball court have been approved by the Superintendent of Schools and the Patriot’s Path Scouting Council and I have created a budget and list of materials necessary to complete a sand volleyball court. The total estimated cost of the project around $12,500.

In order to make an Eagle Scout project, Scouts are encouraged to seek donations from the community. Any contribution you would be able to make would be most appreciated. Thank you for helping make my Eagle Project a reality.
