The Frederick Douglass High School Eagles completed a perfect 2014 football Season by winning the 2a Maryland State Championship. The first football State Championship in school history. Sadly our young Eagles may have brought community/school pride and a trophy back to Croom Road but they are without their Championship rings.
It has come to our attention that purchasing a Championship ring is the responsibility of each player. The rings cost $300 per player! $300 is a large sum of money especially for the 16 seniors on the team who are also responsible for Senior Fees and prom expenses all while preparing for college.
There are 40 players on your 2014 2a Maryland State Championship team who need your assistance. Please make a donation to the FDHS Championship Ring fund today. This fundraiser is sponsored by the Eagles Booster Club in partnership with the FDHS PTSA. All proceeds from this campaign, less standard fees charged by Go Fund Me, will be donated directly to the FDHS Football Program to help cover these expenses. Thank you for your generosity.
