DEAR FRIENDS AND FAMILY 

As we approach the start of the twenty-third year of Dynamic Praise, the choir has been presented with a fantastic opportunity. DP has been selected to compete in the Atlanta Region of the Verizon How Sweet the Sound Choir Competition. This is the fifth year for How Sweet the Sound, and Dynamic Praise is competing for a chance to win over $50,000 in cash and prizes and the honor of being named the Best Gospel Choir in America. The competition in this year’s How Sweet the Sound is extremely strong, with the inclusion of returning champions, several university gospel choirs, and choirs from some of the largest churches in the United States.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

As you may or may not know, Dynamic Praise is a student run organization, and receives no funding, aside from choir member dues and donations. Participating in this competition requires resources that go well beyond the current capabilities of the choir. We need your help in raising funds to provide transportation to and from Atlanta and a new unified wardrobe for the competition.

HOW MUCH DO YOU NEED AND WHEN DO YOU NEED IT BY?

We need to raise $3,000.00 by the August 27, 2012.

What do you Need From me? 

We are looking for 600 people to give at least $5 by the August 27, 2012. That's it. Just five dollars. If you can do more that's great but all we ask is $5.
