My name is Rebecca Gill, i am a Sophomore at Texas A&M University and i am amking this account for my dad. These past two years have been very hard on our family; emotionally, physically, and mentally. Almost two years ago my father developed a deathly form of H1N1 and was in a coma for two months. He survived and we are completely grateful for this but as he recoved his kidneys became weaker and weaker. Two months ago he started dialysis and a kidney transplant was the only hope for him to live past a few more years. As his daughter and only known blood type match i stepped up and decided to be his donor. After months of tests and evaluations we have both been approved for the procedure, but because he has not been working for almost two years now our finances have been steadily shrinking, only by the blessings of God we have been ok this far but this is a very costly and extensive operation. This man is the most deserving man on earth for this second chance, all his life he has put everyone ahead of himself and healing others. He is not only my father but my best friend and it is an honor to be able to do this for him but I do need some help. If anyone can donate that would be incredible and our thanks would forever be toward you but if you cannot (which is fine as well) then please share this page so others may have the chance to do so. I know firmly that this is part of God's plan for us and he has always made that clear to me from the beginning and i know that in this time of need he will provide. This is a very difficult time in my family's life but i believe that this too shall pass and that the Lord will forever be by our sides especially in difficult times.
