Don Martini's Cancer Surgery Fund
My husband, Don Martini is 43 years old and a loving husband, father and grandfather. He had just got done fighting and beating 2 brain tumors (pituitary and cerebral) when he found out that now he has breast cancer (Infiltrating Ductile Carcinomas or IDC) and COPD. Yes, even men can get breast cancer. He was so upset that he just wanted to give up fighting this now thinking he couldn't do this all over again. But he says he is stronger than that and WILL win this fight as well.
So the fight is on and he has to raise $70,000.00 to do his treatments. He has just lost his job and no longer has insurance. The cancer has spread to his right lung now putting him at a stage 4. He also has the threat of TB affecting his right lung as well. On top of all this the Dr wants him to do more tests to see if his tumors are coming back or if the cancer is spreading to his brain since he has been showing symptoms of when he had the tumors before. The money raised will be going towards starting the treatments, the surgery, the vest he will have to wear for the next 6 months after the surgery, his co-pays, the facility where the surgery will take place, the anesthesiologist, our regular bills while he is in recovery, etc... So Please, OPEN YOUR HEARTS AND DONATE what you can. Even if it is $5.00, it all helps and is GREATLY appreciated.
Don has been working trying to save up money to have this done, while trying to pay our other bills, take care of our 1 year old son and our grand kids, but now he is out of a job and his insurance was canceled.
I am asking EVERYONE to please OPEN YOUR HEARTS and donate. Don is a good person. I appeal to the goodness and kindness within you to please help him and us.
A lot of you out there may know him, or know him as Cowboy or even Donnie Evans and may even be related to him.
Don is an honest and caring person. Someone who likes to help others and gives when he can without expecting anything in return but the feeling of knowing he did something good for someone even if he doesn't know them.
NOW... He is the one who is needing the help and can't seem to get it, even from his "family and friends".
I’m trusting in God and that good karma will finally reward him.
Truly he is NOT someone who just thinks of himself, but cares about other people and helping them whenever possible.
