Dill Family Adoption

We are so excited to be growing our family. It has always been our dream to adopt a child. We have the amazing opportunity to provide a family to an orphan with PKU. PKU is a rare genetic disorder where the body can't break down phenylalanine, an amino acid found in protein. It is treated through monitoring blood phe levels, low protein diet, and a special metabolic formula. Due to elevated phe levels we are hoping to travel soon to meet our child. Thank you for helping us reach our goal.
Adoption has always been on our heart. We were blessed with three wonderful children, all born with PKU. In May of 2012 we were matched with a little girl in Russia. We were so excited to add her to our family, unfortunately, two weeks before we were to travel Russia banned US adoptions. It was devastating. We lost everything. We learned so much through the process and grew to be an even closer family. When we decided to start the process again this spring we expected it to take years to find a match. We were shocked when we spoke with an agency and they had the perfect match for us. A beautiful little one with PKU.
