Cloth Diapers for Families in Columbus

Diaper Connection is a nonprofit organization that provides cloth diapers and instruction to families in Central Ohio who qualify for WIC.  Currently Diaper Connection has a waiting list for families who are interested in cloth diapers.

- Disposable diapers can cost $100 each month, a significant burden for low-income families.
- 3 out of 10 low-income families report that they do not have enough diapers.
- Federal assistance such as WIC or food stamps does not help with diapers.
- Without diapers, babies cannot go to childcare and parents cannot attend work or school.
- Moms that don’t have enough diapers are more likely to report depression and anxiety.
- Babies that don’t have enough diapers are left in diapers longer and are more likely to develop rash or infection.

Once we give a family a set of cloth diapers, they never have to buy diapers again.
