Dewar Family Restoration Fund

On the evening of August 2, 2015 a fire was started at the entrance of my Sister's Condo. On the fourth floor, my sister and her two little girls became trapped inside. Thankfully the firefighters were able to make it in time to rescue my sister and nieces off the balcony, however, they lost everything. 
They left their condo with the clothes on their back, no shoes, no diapers, no favourite stuffies, nothing.
The condo was completely destroyed, so in addition to losing all their possessions, they no longer have a permanent place to live. 
My nieces birthdays are this month, turning 2 and 5. They are beautiful, loving girls that also lost their beloved 14 year old pet - a cat named Maxie.
My sister is a single mom and loves these girls with everything she has, she made the only decision she could, which was to grab the girls and get them on the balcony for rescue.
We don't know yet how this fire was started and are trusting the efficiency and experience of the fire department for answers.
Everyone is traumatized and although new possessions can't replace sentimental ones, they need to be able to focus on recovery without wondering how they will be able to survive day to day.
