Debra Lee (Keck) Handy passed away unexpectedly on February 1st, 2016 and ascended to the pearly gates of heaven. She was born on November, 11th 1962 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Debra was preceded in death by her parents Kathleen and Joseph

She is survived by her loving husband and best friend, James Edward Handy along with her 4 children; Michael, Joshua, Kristen, and Timothy. Mother Ilean; Brothers David and Clayton; Sisters Melinda and Michelle. Along with several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She will always be remembered for being the most caring, unselfish, and forgiving person anyone could meet. She consistently put others before herself and was always there for anyone needing a friendly shoulder to cry on. She was a friend of many and loved by all who met her. Her infectious smile and caring soul touched so many that her memory will live on forever. Her passions included caring for her loving husband and children, gardening and landscaping during the beautiful Michigan summers, and finding any reason to bake or cook a meal that would satisfy the harshest of critics.

♥♥♥ Donations will help family with a portion of memorial services. However, a minimum of half of all funds raised regardless the amount, will go to a chairty such as toys for tots ensuring kids have a Merry Christmas this coming year. All funds will stay here in Lenawee County honoring her memory and love for those less fortunate one last time. ♥♥♥
