Donation protected
On April 19, 2016, help elect David Nickarz to the Manitoba Legislature

Do you want to live in a safe, healthy, sustainable community? Do you want to elect a representative who has real solutions for reducing poverty and protecting the environment? Are you tired of the politics of fear, of attack ads, of politicians who divide rather than unite?

If this describes you, please consider voting Green. If you live in the Wolseley constituency, this means supporting the campaign of David Nickarz and voting for him on April 19th.

Make history, donate now, and help us send Dave to the Manitoba Legislature. Whether you give $10, $20 or $100, every donation makes a difference. It's important you take action now! Your generous contribution will go to buy lawn signs, poster, pamphlets and all the other basics tool needed to run a successful political campaign.

David Nickarz, Green MLA Candidate for Wolseley 2016

For those who don’t know Dave as I do

Dave and his wife Laura have lived and worked in the Wolseley riding since 2003. He runs a small business specializing in renovating older homes, including making them more energy efficient.

His extensive volunteer experience of 25 years includes forest conservation, marine wildlife protection and working to end the use of pesticides and other toxins.

Dave helped end logging in Manitoba’s Provincial Parks. This grassroots effort, which took twenty years to achieve, resulted in a parks logging ban in 2009.

In 1993, along with a thousand other activists, he stood up for the ancient rainforests of Clayoquot Sound, British Columbia. This successful civil disobedience campaign was the largest of its kind in Canadian history.

Over the years he has volunteered on the ships of the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, a conservation group dedicated to protecting marine wildlife. Dave has sailed on a total of eight campaigns over 17 years including the successful campaign to stop illegal whaling in the waters around Antarctica. And recently, he signed on as Vice President of Sea Shepherd Canada.

We are excited to be working on Dave’s campaign to represent the people of Wolseley under the banner of the Green Party of Manitoba.

Help us make history by electing Manitoba’s first Green MLA.
