A 14,000 mile journey running across America, from state capital to state capital - teaching and inspiring others to live their dreams, test the limits of human endurance, expect more out of ourselves, and raise awareness of possibilities.
The Dare 2 Dream Tour is to raise funds for a new foundation that focuses on helping families that have a child suffering from cancer or other disease. The foundation will work with the families to find hope and encouragment so they can find the meaning of why the suffering has occured, and how they can use this to be a beacon of light to others who also are going through the pain and the unknown. The foundation is building a network across the country to bring these families together, to educate them and others of possibilities in their lives, and to allow them to start dreaming again!

We have seen the tests of human courage by a man free falling from the edge of space, the sustained intense focus of a race car driver during a closely contested race, and the participation of many of our finest athletes in extreme sports. But what can an ordinary person do, someone who has spent the first part of their life raising a family, working day-in, day-out making a living?
What are the limits of, what we consider “being human”? What are the limits of human endurance, in both the mind and the body? Can a sedentary person obtain extraordinary results if his spirit drives him? Is the knowledge we gained over the last few decades in: nutrition, muscular anatomy, cellular regeneration and body energy conversion, good enough to propel a person over great distances? Can his mind stay focused over the same period of time? Can he inspire others to discover their boundaries on their own?
I believe we, as humans, have not even come close to knowing these answers.
I propose we find out.
I am seeking sponsorship in a multiyear-long event, which I have dubbed, “Dare 2 Dream Tour”. In essence: starting on June 15, 2015 in my home town of Canfield, Ohio, I will be running the country, from State Capital to State Capital, completing the circuit back to Canfield. Estimating an 18 month, approximately 14000 mile trip, covering all 50 states (flying to Alaska and Hawaii), in what will be a daily physical and mental demanding challenge to push the body, mind and spirit as an example of the hidden potential within all of us.
But this run isn’t about me. It is about bringing communities together. It is about encouraging and challenging people to rise higher in all levels of their lives. To focus on what they can become and know that they have absolutely no limits on what they can do. It is about staying passionate about life and having BIG dreams.
I believe through speaking engagements, national/local media exposure, health fairs, fun runs, sponsoring campaigns for others to run to their own State Capitals
will bring awareness of the benefits of believing in oneself, having the courage to step out of your comfort zone, and become who you always wished to be. This will greatly impact our country.
As an experiment of one, I am currently seeking involvement of universities, the scientific community and medical research. Data gathered on nutrition, body recovery, muscle fatigue, mental toughness and other physical attributes will be of great value to our understanding of unlimited potential.
I also love to write. I plan to create several books during this adventure: diet and nutrition, photo journal, stories of people I meet and places I pass through, motivational and encouragement, and a book of my personal experience. The first one is already in the making, titled "An Experiment of One". The list is endless.
I have spent a good part of my life dreaming and planning this run. I am at the part in my life that it needs to happen now.

Donations will be used to purchase supplies and equipment such as a modified running cart, shoes and other weather apparel, GPS, transponder and Website development for live tracking.
