The Dan Morse Memorial Fund

Donation protected
On October 25th, we lost a great man.  Dan Morse was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, son and friend.

His loss has had a profound impact on everyone who knew him.  Camp Ellis will never be the same.  You always knew where you stood with Danny and you always knew who and what he loved.

No one in Camp Ellis will see a white truck  go by without thinking about him, his high pitched, hysterical laugh, the look on his face when he was questioning what the hell you were doing and his willingness to help everyone.

Danny's battle with cancer was an inspiration to all who knew him.  Seven years after being diagnosed, he still fought and worked until hours before he passed away.

We thought a wonderful way to memorialize him is to have two memorial benches placed in Camp Ellis in his honor.

One will be located at the end of Lower Beach Road looking over Danny's view.  The other will be placed on the fishing pier at the Saco River in Camp Ellis.

We also plan to put a granite bench in his and Renie's yard, that all who knew him enjoyed so much.   The bench in the yard will be engraved with the words:  "It is what it is"' one of Danny's favorite sayings.

Please do what you can to help make this important memorial happen.  Also, please join us on Memorial Day weekend for the dedication.

What a special way this will be for all of us to remember him, but especially for his wife Renie, his children, Mickey, Daniel, Betheny, Matthew and Beth, his sweet grandchildren and his adoring dogs, Cooper and Bailey.
