Dalton's World Leadership Congress Trip

Hello! My name is Dalton Miller, and I am currently a Junior at Douglas High School. I just recently visited Las Vegas to attend and graduate from a program called HOBY at the University Of Las Vegas. At HOBY (Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership) I enhanced my leadership skills and I received motivation to follow my dreams. The program changes lives in every state along with over 30 countries. Hoby has opened my eyes in so many aspects. On day two of the program, various students were able to leave the campus and either help the homeless, make hygiene packs, or clean books for less fortunate children. These details are just a few things we did at HOBY to change the world and brighten the futures of sophomores. Now, there is another opportunity for me to change the world. HOBY has a World Leadership Congress on the 19th through the 26th of July. This is an exhilarating 7-day journey in Chicago in which I will have the privilege to interact with people from many other countries. I will have the opportunity to listen to various guest speakers who own non-prophet companies and people who have changed the world for the better. It is one of my dreams to attend this program but I, becoming a fulltime AP student, just simply can’t come up with the money to accommodate this educational opportunity. This program will help me develop an understanding of world problems, volunteer oppertunities, fun games that bond everybody together and I will receive first hand knowledge of different cultures. This is why I am reaching out for your help. The entire experience will cost approximately $2,000. This includes tuition, round trip airfare, the programs over night fee, and a meal plan.
