Three villages have been dropped by their NGO leaving mothers scrambling for lunches.

In order to continue Luisa’s center in San Antonio Palpolo until a new NGO is confirmed, we would like assist her in opening an internet café.   There are two donated laptops from techchange of Boston and we would like to buy (1) more net surfer at $250 USD applying the remaining $250 towards administration and overhead

More importantly, in creating this Internet presence in the San Antonio pueblo, we open the door to on-line learning.  Programs like KAHN ACADEMY are now in Spanish...and the former is in the process of being certified for MINEDUC (Ministry of Education) use.

NOTE: Teacher shortages are so critical that Unions do not oppose this step into Massive On line Courses.. MOOCs.

Internet to the Home costs about 200-350Quetzals or about $40USD a month (contract for a year minimum or buyer pays for equipment and various fines)   Luisa can charge 5Q an hour per each.  These are not fancy gaming computers but surfers running on UBUNTU.

Rosa's village, Patanatic, has been connected via informal net for over two years and so, now we want to expand more formally to San Antonio.   Please, Go Fund this...
