Hello, everyone:
My name is Vanessa, I'm 22, and currently on my way to completing my fourth year of college. I am a psychology major hoping to become an experimental psychologist so that I may study and experiment in areas of memory, language, and learning disabilities.
Unfortunately, achieving my career goal has become difficult within the last year.
Currently, I live with my grandmother who is 73, and my brother who is 23. We live on a monthly budget of 1,975, and the mortgage itself is near $900. Unfortunately, that does not leave much for our basic needs such as food and regular household supplies.
Recently (6-24-15), I received an email from my college saying that I would not be awarded my FASFA due to an outstanding bill ($893). And that, unless paid under a $200 by October 15th, I would not receive my award, as well as have my current bill added on to this year’s bill of $1,700.
I've been trying to look for a job (and have been since school ended), and trying to sell what I can, but I'm afraid I won't be able to come up with enough money to pay off the bill.
It would require at least $200 a month, and with other expenses looming over my head, it's not something I can afford.
It would mean the world to me if you could please help and support me in this financial endeavor so that I can receive my FASFA to pay for textbooks and other college supplies for the upcoming semester.
You can pay as little as $5 or whatever amount you feel comfortable with. Every little bit helps. It honestly does. Even sharing with your friends and spreading the word.
