Dancer Scholarship Fund
Tax deductible
Coast City Ballet, is a 501-(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Huntington Beach, California, founded in 2005 by Clara and Alicia D’Autilia.
CCB provides an unique opportunity for students of all ages and abilities to study the traditions and discipline of classical ballet as well as other dance genres, and offers a link between dance training and performing by providing dancers and choreographers with a forum to explore their talents, gain experience, and grow as performers. Dancers ages 10 through adult, receive solid base in technique, the special care and attention needed to become dancers, and the opportunity to work and perform in a professional setting.
In keeping with our mission to open the world of dance to our community, over a decade ago CCB established a Scholarship Program with funds left to her by her late father for that specific purpose.
The Program includes, merit-based and need based awards for students to participate in classes/training, workshops, intensives, and performances, as well as to acquire dance attire and/or performance costumes.
Without scholarships, many dancers would not be able to commit to dance, reach their full potential and fulfill their dreams. Currently we are raising funds to allow us to continue to sponsor dancers with scholarships for the upcoming season. But now, we need your help! If you are as passionate about making dance accessible to ALL, please help us with our fundraising efforts for CCB’s 2016/2017 Scholarship Program!
Thank you!
