Keep honor student from homelessness

I graduated from community college this May cum laude and with PTK honors. I have an academic honors scholorship to MTSU this fall, and that will cover tuition and a lot of living expenses after August 28. BUT right now, we're losing our current student housing on July 31.

We need abount $1400 to put the deposits down on new housing at MTSU, pay utility deposits, and eat until the scholarship money comes in on 8/28. Within a few days after that date (bank processing time), we will be able to pay back the money we need now. We don't have any other options right now since we didn't qualify for temporary housing because we're a lesbian couple. (Isn't Tennessee grand, protecting all those students from the middle-age lesbians!)

What we're asking is to borrow small amounts from a number of people, paying them back the first week of September with a small amount (5%) interest. If you want repayment with interest, you will need to leave a paypal ID email, or a mailing address we can send a money order to.
