Charlie's Story...
I am Charlie and I have Autism. I used to get upset and bullied and rejected by lots of people both in school and out in the community because I was different so I became Suicidal.
Just as I thought all hope was gone I met a Thoroughbred horse named Oscar who had a difficult start in life and who Showed me that life is worth living after all and showed me my path ahead to help other people and horses who also have had hard lives as a Student Horse Whisperer with Dawn at Heartshore Stables.
Now I am using the Natural Horsemanship training methods of Silversand and Monty Roberts to train my young Irish Sport Horse called Spirit Of Summer's Rain who helps me with my new mission to stand up tall to try to inspire others to try Natural Horsemanship even if they are disabled and to show those who are disabled what can be achieved when you focus on your interests and talents.
I was the first Autistic adult in the world to be certified in the Horse Boy therapy methods, and I am a student of Monty Roberts and Kelly Marks.
To help me with this mission I am looking to get a Trailer to take my horse Spirit around the country and help others and inspire them with my demonstrations in Natural Horsemanship and also to help horse owners with behavioural problems such as loading on & off trailers, and catching their horses in the field.
I am being supported by the registered charity, The Autism Directory, who are managing this fundraising campaign and will also manage the Trailer, pay its insurance and maintain it for me so I can do what I am good at and not have to worry about the organisation of these things.
In Summary, I am fundraising to purchase an Ifor Williams Horse Trailer to take my horse Spirit across the country to help and support others. This fundraising will also cover its transportation to Heartshore Stables where it will be kept and cover its first years insurance and other necessities too.

Please Note: The main Rewards of Black Beauty 2, Spirit 1 and Spirit 2 will only be arranged once the new trailer has been funded by this campaign and purchased and insured.
