Carlo's dad has been battling Leukemia, after 2 years of treatment, it went into remission. However, this past week he had to undergo another round of chemo and medication to address his extremely low platelet count.
He has more chemo treatments to do in the coming months. Carlo's dad has been out of work since getting sick and his mother is scraping by. They accumulated a rather large debt from various bills and trying to save their house from a predatory lender. His parents are not ones to ask for help, his Dad has been fixing broken hair clippers and sharpening barber scissors just to try to make a couple bucks to pay for basic necessities and his mom has put off retiring to keep her modest income coming in.
We are hoping to raise $60K to take the burden of this debt off their shoulders, so his dad can focus on healing and not focus on trying to pay these bills.
