Toyin and B2L Serving Women In Cambodia

I love women. I have spent a great deal of time in the last 7 years counselling many women and have witnessed countless ways women have been and are being lied to, abused, and exploited.
From hearing stories and many times weeping alongside, I have been inspired to be a voice and to act for justice, both for the one and for the many, and have done so through a great number of avenues. From running human trafficking awareness workshops with hundreds, to meeting with Members of Parliament advocating on their behalf on these and many other issues.
In less than 2 weeks, I will be going to Cambodia with a delegation of 6 others from the MY Canada Association in partnership with XPMissions' Operation Justice Cambodia. We will be serving women and children from 6 slum communities and 2 street dwelling communities. Our work will target the issues of Human Trafficking and Abortion Bullying, as well as laying the groundwork for starting a Pregnancy Care Center there.
I need $1740.00 in the next week and would greatly appreciate your support in this endeavor! Your finances, prayers and well-wishes will be present as I counsel, educate and work on the streets of Cambodia.

One of the most devastating experiences a woman can experience is being valued as an object, and one of the worst ways this happens today is through sex slavery and human trafficking. Women and children are recruited, transported, sold and controlled, often into a different country, and then forced to sell their bodies at an enormous profit to others. Many of these women are also coerced into having abortions unwillingly with no regard for their physical or emotional well-being after such procedures.
These abused women need counseling and practical help - resources that many organizations and foundations which I assist, provide. I have also been able to speak to the deeper issues that feed human trafficking, such as legalized prostitution, pornography, and pop culture. The response has been overwhelming: many desire to tangibly support women here in Canada and worldwide.
