To look at Cameron you would never know he was born with 4 heart defects ......... as soon as he could walk a football has been at the end of his feet ⚽️ his first and only love
A devastating diagnoses at 4 weeks old left us heartbroken ,our baby was seriously ill and not expected to live passed his first birthday without life saving heart surgery.
Constantly in and out of hospital on heart drugs to keep him going until he was strong enough to have his first open heart surgery, days before he turned one . A birthday we will never forget .
The longest weeks in hospital recovering and celebrating his first birthday even managed a cheeky smile though his big brown eyes said different still poorly but a fighter.
Another long open heart surgery before his second birthday this time trouble his main archery torn a risk we knew with surgery , blood transfusions and repaired but his heart wouldn't start ................please get him through he is only 2 ........... My heart stopped with his .......... A fighter he came through . More weeks recovering with another surgery before his third birthday ........this time to repair the veins in his leg fused together by catheters from heart surgery stopped his leg growing !!!
A fighter came back strong and that's what he has been doing ever since in and out of hospital, under hospital for life, regular checks ups and tests and always with a smile never complaining knowing he has more surgery to come he just gets on with it . Cameron's heart team are amazed with him and are also supporting his dream .
Excellent grades at school , exceeding in college and football playing since he was 6 and now has been given an opportunity to continue his dream in America studying for 4 years and playing football a once in a lifetime chance he thought was never possible .
We have never asked for help and even to this day people don't know about his heart condition because we wanted him to have a normal as possible life to see Cameron for him and not his heart condition , we just live life as a family together, but want to support Cameron's dream with your help too make it a reality.
