Welcome to Celiac Disease awareness fundrasier!
I am not sure how many people actually know what Celiac Disease is I myself had no idea what it was or even existed until my sister Sherri Mitchell found out she had it, and from there I have done some research on the disease and to sum it up for everyone It is a genetic auto-immune disorder that causes the body to attack the digestive system when wheat, barley, rye, kamut or spelt is ingested. It causes severe damage to the digestive system and leads to other long term health impacts if left untreated. Due to lack of early diagnosis, my sister is dealing with a number of issues that require long term treatment to heal. The testing and treatment has been very expensive and she has been struggling with those costs while trying to get well. I am organizing this fundrasier to try and help ease the financial burden my sister has so she is able to focus on her healing. <3<3<3
