Seeds of Hope Medical Fund

Crescent Community Clinic mission is to provide access to free health care services for the uninsured, indigent and underserved adults, ages 18 to 64, to promote health literacy and to establish alliances that serve the community. Clinic is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that does not receive any federal, state, county or United Way funding and relies on donations from the community, patients and grants to meet our budget. Volunteers physicians, dentists, psychiaritst, therapists and general support staff are volunteers. Clinic opened in 2008 and have had over 26,000 patient visits since then.
   Cancer is one of the leading causes of death in the United States. Women who do not have access to mammograms, pelvic exams, pap tests, biosopies and diagnostic tests have a higher rate of cancer than those who have insurance that covers these women's health services.  
   Our campaign to raise funds will provide the uninsured and indigent women with the opportunity for early cancer detection exaaminations and tests that  ultimately will save lives.
   Funds are needed as soon as possible to provide the 107 women on the waiting list at the clinic who are in need of women's health care services.
   Early Cancer Detection mean saving lives for our grandmothers, our mothers, our sisters, our aunts, our daughters, our granddaughters who without access to women's health care would die.
