Vintage motorcycle tour of US

I will be riding a Great Circle Tour of the US in the summer of 2014 and create a body of photographic work documenting the journey. I anticipate it will take approximately 5 weeks. My motorcycle is a 1975 vintage Honda CB750 which I've restored and maintain myself. My goals for this trip include not riding on any interstate freeways, and to get off the bike often, especially in small towns, to talk with people, both locals and fellow travelers.

I am an award winning photographer, and have exhibited in juried art shows along side of internationally known artists. I am dedicated to using traditional film materials, tools and processes. I develop and print black and white photographs in my home darkroom. My approach to both photography and motorcycling is to focus on the journey, not just the destination.
