All Saints Burns Supper 2015
Donation protected
The Burns Supper is a tradition in Scotland to celebrate the famous Scottish poet Robert Burns. Burns is famous for his scots verse and we propose that the members of the All Saints Humanities class prepare a collection of poetry and songs by Robert Burn for recitation on the 31 January to accompany a meal that will be prepared and served to members of the parish.
Last year the parish benifitted greatly from your generosity. This year we are seeking donations to help defray the cost of the Burns Supper to ensure that everyone can enjoy a wee taste of Scotland. In particular we are seeking donations for the following items:
1. Slow roasted shoulder of Scotch lamb ($2,000)
2. The Cheiftan of the Puddin' race, the Haggis ($500)
3. Highland decorations ($500)
