Brymbo FC Against Anti Social Behaviour

Unfortunately Brymbo Football Club have once again fallen victim to anti social behaviour.
In 2017 The Leader and Daily Post newspapers published articles following vandalism to the seats in our stand. Seats had been set on fire, smashed or ripped out by vandals causing thousands of pounds worth of damage. Notably, the vandalism was caused by groups of young people congregating in the stand, drinking alcohol.
We regularly have to clear smashed beer bottles, cans and other litter from the area and even from the pitch which could potentially cause a serious injury. Dail Post Article 2017 Brymbo FC Vandalism
It is with huge regret to inform everyone that the anti social behaviour has continued since 2017 and we are now left with only 19 out of 50 usable seats due to more being damaged.
The football club have since removed the 19 remaining seats from the stand over fears they will also be vandalised.
As of the 2020/21 season, new rules and criteria implemented by the Football Association of Wales (FAW) states that we must have a minimum of 100 covered seats. We were hugely grateful, having recently been awarded a grant that allowed us to build a new 50 seater stand to meet the Tier 2 and Tier 3 criteria.
However, we now face a conundrum!!! We are apprehensive about replacing the vandalised seats without having the appropriate security measures in place to ensure that the vandalism does not continue.
We are hopeful to raise the required funds that will allow us to purchase the appropriate security gates/fencing/grills to protect the seating in both stands and our dugouts.
