Brielle's Liver Transplant Fund

Hello! :) My name is Brielle Therese Fontanilla Gonzales. I am 3 years old, and I live in Iloilo City, Philippines. With the assistance of my Godmother, Amanda, we were able to put up this site.
That's me (left) and my little brother, Paul (right). The two of us, along with our father, have Alagille syndrome. It is a genetic autosomal dominant disorder associated with abnormalities of the liver, heart, skeleton, eyes, and kidneys, with a characteristic facial appearance, called a triangular facie.
Aside from my heart and skeletal abnormalities, my main problem is with my liver. I have already undergone surgery, but sadly it didn't work. I'm still suffering from severe jaundice (yellow discoloration of the skin of and eyes), xanthomas (fat deposit skin lesions), and pruritus (severe itchiness), which severely compromises my growth and quality of life.
Presently, my parents are preparing for me to have a liver transplant, hopefully by the end of 2016, or as soon as enough funds are raised and available. This procedure is a last shot for a second life for me. My mother will also be part of the procedure, as she will be my live liver donor.
My mom and dad, don't have a lot. Mom is still a post-graduate intern in Medicine, but she took a leave of absence for me. She still depends on my grandparents for financial support. Dad recently passed his medical board exam and started his medical residency. As the same with mom, he also depends on granddaddy and grandmom for support. Despite this, they are trying their best to raise funds for my liver transplant and become good doctors to help a lot of patients, who will also need help someday.
My Dad had also undergone many past surgeries in his heart, liver, and ears, but regardless of that he has become a very incredible man. Mom calls him a living miracle. Just like Dad, I also want to be a living miracle- to grow up, live life to the fullest, and to inspire other kids (like me) to be the very best that they can be--in spite of any illnesses or struggles that they might face.
This next several months will be very crucial to my life, and any amount of donation will be helpful. I hope this fundraiser can also bring about awareness on rare diseases, like Alagille syndrome (https://rarediseases.org/rare-diseases/alagille-syndrome/).
