Help Blake Become a PTA
Donation protected
Our son, Blake, has had many adversities in life. He has asperger's, dyslexia, and auditory processing disorder. He used to sit up late at night with his little brother and practice reading. When he did not know a word, he would write it on a piece of paper, draw a picture of it, and then memorize it. After years of working to overcome this struggle, he now reads fluently. Praise the Lord! Currently he is working as a CNA-in-training at an assisted living facility, preparing to take his certification exam in March. He is saving all the money he earns to pay for his college. He wants to study to become a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and then later on to medical school to become an orthopedic doctor. He says, "As slow as I am, it will probably take me until I am 50 to become an orthopedic doctor, but it's what I want to do. I will keep pushing forward." If you'd like to help a young man who loves the Lord, has a heart for disabled people and wounded animals, please consider donating to our son's college fundraising. God bless you!
