Medical Bills for a veteran

Donation protected
Hello friends and friends of friends. I am attempting to raise funds to aid in the rehabilitation and medical bills for my very dear friend Bill Mccauley. Bill has just recently undergone an emergency amputation of his left leg up to mid thigh. Bill has an amazing and very supportive group of friends that are providing all the labor and costs to rehab his home to make it handicap accessible. I am doing my part in labor as well as reaching out to our community for additional funds to help fund whatever needs may come as he begins his new journey in life.

Bill is a proud Marine with a heart of gold. Originally from New Jersey, Bill moved to Arizona with his mother and father. He is an only child and has no living blood relatives on the west coast. He retired from the Scottsdale School System in the construction area. He has been a fill in worker for his adopted family at Giligan's bar for years. If you ever had the pleasure of running into him, he always had a genuine smile and  great bar banter to share.

I have had the pleasure of knowing Bill for 15 years. I refer to him as my brother. He is always willing to help out a friend in need and never ask for anything in return.  Long ago he started dog sitting for friends which quickly lead him to a high demanding gig sought by all. When Bill took care of our fury babies, he treated them with all the love and care of the owners. Even when his own life was in jeopardy, he was more concerned about leaving the dogs he was caring for at the time and letting down the people he had made a commitment to for their upcoming vacations.

It is my prayer that this gets circulated throughout Scottsdale and Chandler and finds it's way into the hearts of those who can pay it forward just a little. A miracle would be for it to be seen throughout the country. The internet is a powerful instrument and I am placing this in God's hands for it to be seen by those who can help.

I am a frequent Starbuck's enthusiast and never question spending $5 a day. Giving that up just one day will help Bill raise the
money  he needs to  live independently.  Even a donation of $1 or sharing this with your friends would be a generous gift in itself. If that isn't possible God bless you and your struggles. We all have them and things are tough all over.

As most of you know our VA has issues. Due to this problem, it would have taken 2 years for Bill to have been seen by a doctor and receive the care he needed. Private care was needed to save his life.

Paying it forward is what life is all about. Again, any donation even minimal will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and God Bless You
