A Better Bible Study Method

We are raising the funds to do another printing of the first book in the better Bible study method book series. This will allow us to provide a print version of the book to those who do not do eBooks.

This book shows people the importance of relying on the word of God rather than simply trusting in the traditions of men. Here is a brief summary from the back cover of the book.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God (2Ti 3:16). Thus, the testimony of scripture is true, and ideas that contradict scripture must be false. Yet, the Bible lets us know that the traditions of men can cause people to hold ideas that are contrary to the word of God.

Scripture identifies “the disciple whom Jesus loved” as the author of the fourth gospel. He was known to the high priest, was the first one who “believed” after Jesus’ resurrection, and some said he would not die. Those things are not true of the Apostle John, but many are deceived into believing he was John, despite all the evidence to the contrary.

This is a case of Scripture vs. Tradition, and putting the teachings of men to the test of God’s word is a method that was used by Jesus and others in scripture to show people how to distinguish between truth and error on biblical issues. Integrity demands a hearing for the biblical evidence. As will be shown, however, submitting to the authority of God’s word on this issue teaches much more than the truth on one issue. For, what this insight teaches us about relying on scripture is the key to a better bible study method.
