A few years ago, our little family arrived on a doorstep and moved into a home with a friend. After some challenges, difficult situations, and opportunities to learn patience and strength, our time here is finished. The house is now toxic, there is black mold; wires have been damaged, and I really would prefer not having the ceiling fall in on me. I fell through the floor, but luckily I know how to wield a hammer and some nails! Not only that, but someone else is moving in.
Now for the exciting (kind of scary) part! We get a chance to move...again...and the time frame is immediately! But here's the kicker...we are looking for partners to assist us with raising funds for deposits, rent, and expenses so we can move into a little cottage. Average rent for a 2 bedroom in the Birch Bay/Blaine/Custer area is $800-$900; deposits range around $800. My bout with post herpetic neuropathy is starting to improve, but I am still partially limited physically. I can earn a living, I just have to be very creative with the type of work I do.
As my sister recently put it, "You were there for a reason and a season, and now it's YOUR turn."
