I just wanted to send an update to all of you who helped us move to Boise a year ago. As of December I have graduated from Boise State University with a BA in MDS (Multidisciplinary Studies)! One of the biggest accomplishments I did this year was to establish and run the Hebrew Roots Club at Boise State University as it's president! It was a packed crazy year. You can view my e-portfolio here: http://rebekah-qara-bat-yahovah.weebly.com/ and though I didn't walk for graduation (because I was planning the Chanukkah party for the University) here was Isaac's way of trying to involve friends in the celebration for my graduation: http://funds.gofundme.com/dashboard/GradGift4Rebekah
Thank you so much for helping us leave the mountain and pursue this dream! Our mission has become clear––we are entering "ministry" full-time and heading out on a 6-month Nation-wide tour to find the lonely youth of the Messianic and Hebrew Roots Movement from which to build a college (Teshuvah College).
If you want to know what this is all about here is a link to the project of our lives: http://www.teshuvahcollege.com/ from this link you can find all the facebook pages associated with the development of the college.
We are doing this on pure faith and love. Right now we are waiting for Papa to provide an RV for our "Finding Our Youth" tour that starts Feb. 1. Unfortunately, our truck in gone and we have to move out by Friday. If you want to continue to sponsor our life in transition and help us get on tour I am opening up this GoFundMe campaign again.....
No matter what, thank you again for all your help getting us to this point.
Update for my GofundMe sponsors and friends: I am twitter-paited with this new life here in Boise! So much relief and restoration we are encountering. Attending school is like a vacation to me. So far, I have straight A's. The greenbelt winding right along the river is amazing. Biking or walking along it is a completely different world from driving the streets. I've never been in a place where the cotton wood trees literally 'snow' for weeks. Man, if you had allergies you'd be miserable, but I'm loving it! The wild life is more abundant than on the mountain where we've come from, the weather here is much better, the city feels more like a large town, we are making friends and really beginning to have our calling come into focus. Girls are doing great! The cat is the one suffering - without a job of eating mice. The name of YHVH is being spoken on the BSU campus––and movement is coming from it! So much to say.... but I need to go pray, study and take care of myself and my family. Love to you all! Thank you again for getting us here to this new part of our journey....just wanted to touch base with you all!
I've removed all the personal story and content from our campaign due to continued 'hate' mail. If you want to know why we are asking for donations, please contact me directly. Thank you for understanding! I'll leave the video up for now! :o)
