Let me dream in Italian!

We need $3,000.00 by September 15th 2015!!
I teach Italian at Bellaire High School in Texas. My students are enthusiastic learners and for them I created an exchange with a school in Italy.
Every year 7-13 students spend 10-15 days during Thanksgiving with an Italian family and attend a public school, enjoying the life of an Italian teenager.
Then in the Spring it is their turn to host their Italian guest in our school and in their homes.
All this at the simple cost of the airfare, because being the students' families involved in this adventure, the lodging and meals are taken care of by them.
Why do I do it?
Because I strongly believe in giving young people the opportunity to travel, learn and explore the world.
Families are usually asked to save $1,500.00, considering about $1,350.00 for the cost of the airfare, and some extra money to cover small expenses.
The sum I am trying to raise would then cover the trip for two students, who might otherwise not be able to go.
My school is a Title I school, with kids from all sort of households, most not really wealthy.
Give them a chance to dream in Italian!!
