Back To School Drive
Arts Monongahela is running a Back To School Supplies Drive for local junior high and high school children, grades 7-12! This drive will run July 27th through August 14th! Our goal is to raise enough for 300 or more kits, which is roughly $3,000!
The Challenge We’re Facing:
Many families are struggling. With high unemployment, and hundreds of students enrolled in the free and reduced meal programs, many parents are unable to provide the basic school supplies their children need to be effective. In addition, schools across the country are facing severe budget cuts and lack the funding to purchase necessary supplies. These cuts greatly affect our local schools.
How You Can Help:
Donate $10, (or whatever you feel comfortable with) to purchase a Back To School Supplies Kit! You can help local children in school by giving them the tools they need to succeed. For only $10, you can sponsor a Back To School Supplies Kit which includes: (1) Five Star Zipper Binder (2) Packs of Subject Dividers (2) Notebooks, (2) Pack of Mechanical Pencils. (2) Packs of #2 Lead Pencils, (1) Ruler, (1) Pair of Scissors, (1) Highlighter Set, (1) Set of Washable Markers, (1) Set of Crayola Crayons, (10) Pocket folders, (2) Red and Blue Pens, (5) Loose Lined Paper

*Feeling great about ensuring that children start the school year with the tools they need to succeed.
*Helping teachers by providing them with proper tools for their classrooms so they don’t have to spend money from their own pockets.

Option 2: Swing by Arts Monongahela and donate $10 towards a Back To School Supplies Kit! We accept all major debit/credit cards, as well as cash.

When Will The Kits Be Delivered?
