ANN'S HOUSE FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN
This is Gabriel.  Ann's House helps homeless and health challenged women and their children, like Gabriel and his mom, to thrive and not just survive. Gabriel is a part of dreams being fulfilled for the homeless. Help  us continue to do that by donating here online....or running/walking at the Ann's House 5K Walk/run on June 27th at 8 am. The money will go to playground equipment,  house extension, and support for Moms.
     One night I had a dream that a house had been given to us to help women.  After failing  to make the dream work, I put it on a shelf and just kept teaching small groups to empower women. One of the graduates of our program got a phone call 15 years later from someone who had a house they wanted to give away to fulfill their dream to serve women. They just happened to call a program where one of our graduates was working. We were then offered a house  and land to help women.  When we went to see the house up on a hill I asked the lawyer, "How long has this house been sitting here?  The answer was:  15 years ago.  Almost 15 years to the day when the dream had first been given. 
Gabriel's mom was like so many others.  She had a  dream, too, that now seemed unreachable. She was homeless, with two minor children, was separated from her husband, and had a health challenge. She came to Ann's House and worked hard and graduated early.  She is now reunited with her husband, on a prosperous job, has conquered her health challenge ...and Gabriel and his brother are smiling even more. He is one of the 108 children  we have helped so far.
We want to empower  even more moms with dreams.
Help us to raise $47,000 for Ann's House as: 
-Women and children are still on the street. We want to  change more lives like Gabriel and his family.
-We need playground equipment for kids like Gabriel.
-We need more room to conduct our life skills training and want to change that by expanding our facility. 
-We need another home for those we turn away. 
- We want to fulfill an older woman's dream, help more Mom's realize their dreams and see ours fulfilled to help more moms and kids like Gabriel.
