I'm a proud Londoner of mixed Latin American heritage. I've just completed my year at Mountivew studying Acting Part-time and now want to take my career to the next level by completing a masters at
Mountview Drama School.
The government has cut funding for post-grad students 25+.
I am working and a carer for my mother by day.
I need your support to help
What is the problem I am trying to solve?
In recent years we have seen funding for education been slashed fewer students from minorities, single parent families and middle class backgrounds can afford the privilege of higher education.
Winston Churchill once said if we cut funding for the arts what are we fighting for, when asked to slash budget during WW2
However once again when cuts have to be made it is the Arts and artists who suffer
I have already earned a place at Mount view on the basis of my talents as an actor, unfortuately my background and lack of funding now mean that I have to turn to unconventional means to ensure my education. This is where you can help.
Why do I care about this?
Acting is a part of storytelling and I believe that there are many stories that need be shared worldwide, past and present. Stories that inspire us, scare us, motivate us, and help reflect.
I want to be able to bring you the best in truthful characters whatever the story.
I would like to represent my culture as I feel the Latin American community and their stories are under represented in the UK and the World.
Currently Higher Education, Film and Drama schools are elitist only accesible to those who can afford it.
How can we ever get to the stage of hearing new voices and stories when all those people telling them come from the same privilege background.
How will the money be spent?
Money will be spent to cover my Tuition Fees
Tuition Fees - £15,500
When will supporters see the difference?
The course runs for 12months and I will be wholly dedicated to it.
I will keep sponsors up to date through social media: Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat and Facebook.

End of year Mountview Foundation in Acting Performance: Love Clots by Richard Vincent and Juliet group.
I have preformed multiple times at the CASA Scratch
night which is a celebration of Latin American Theatre.
One which was a story of Mexican street clowns. with Juanita Mora as director and InSpire Productions
I have done some extra work and was an Egyptian soldier in
Exodus : Gods and Kings
I have also performed at the Courtyard theatre in Shoreditch/London which was a production of Our country's good by Timberlake Wertenbaker (Iplayed the role of Ralph)
I want to take my training to the next level and and help you can give would be much appreciated.
