Aaron David Junior Hughes

While everyone was celebrating the New year, every parents worst nightmare became a reality for us. On Christmas Eve 2014 Aaron became poorly with what we thought was a sickness bug, by New year Aaron was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma (B-cell, Burkitts) in his stomach and kidney. Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma is an uncommon cancer that develops in the lymphatic system. Aaron junior has a 16cm tumour in his stomach and a smaller tumour in his kidney. Aaron Junior has had a course of chemotherapy which had no effect and is now having an intense course which we are hoping will shrink the tumour. Whilst we are extremely grateful for the amazing care we are receiving from Great Ormond Street Hospital, they can only accommodate one parent. Thus leaving one of us having to find accommodation or travel to and from Southend on Sea everyday. This page was set up as we had a lot of friends and family wanting to offer financial support in which we are extremely grateful. All proceeds from this page will be spent on accommodation or travel or just seeing that Aaron junior gets everything he wishes for whilst he is going through this dreadful time.
