+Con, a queer exclusive space.

There are conferences and conventions going on all over the world, there are conventions for fandoms and conferences for religious leaders and so much more.  What kind of con, then, is missing?  I'd say that what is missing is a conference that focuses on creating a safe space for non-straight and non-cis people of all ages to come together to learn and grow as people.

+Con will have workshops on a variety of topics and some kind of evening entertainment.  It will take place in the area of Los Angeles, California and it will be free to attend.

About the mind behind +Con: Alexx Souter, the driving force behind this event, has been a part of the planning process for the Homeschool Association of California's annual family conference for five years, they have several more years of experience with event planning through The Homeschool Association of California, Girl Scouts, and La Leche League. At age twenty they identify as pansexual and genderfluid, as well as multiracial.
