Hello All,

How Things Can Change.

I will be retiring from bridgeMLS training and technical support at the end of 2017 due to medical reasons that hinder me from continuing with my job.

I am asking my friends, students and colleagues for some help with medical expenses I have incurred starting in 2016 and I am afraid will be continuing in to 2018 and beyond.

Any donation that you can help me with would be greatly appreciated.

What Happened:

On October 19th 2016 I was involved in a one person bicycle accident while riding my beloved E-Bike.

Going down a bike path near Half-moon bay I narrowly avoided hitting a toddler on their bike, then avoided the center support post of a single lane bike bridge, then after all that I lost control of my bike when I hit a sandy spot on a curve after the bridge. The bike went one way and I another, after the crash I picked myself up and was able to walk for help. After days of not moving so well I went to the doctor who prescribed pain medication and a MRI scan, driving home after the MRI at Kasier my Doctor called urgently telling me to go the emergency room with no delay. The scan had picked up a massive infection in my spine which led to a 6-night hospital stay and starting an around the clock antibiotic drip. After a spinal tap and further diagnosis, I was put on a IV Pik System that allowed me to go with home care for 6 weeks and daily injections from the home nurse and with my wonderful wife turning into care giver along with keeping me sane and thinking positive. After six weeks of home care and feeling a bit better another MRI scan revealed a chipped bone in my L4 Lumbar vertebrae with no surgical options. Another spinal test revealed a condition called Osteopenia which is a weakness in the bone tissue Though I continued to work under limited conditions I was just not the same or feeling right.  Currently I am suffering an incredible amount of fatigue, pain and lack of mobility. After retirement, I plan on extensive therapy and perhaps can reach a point of improvement.  Donations with my expenses would be helpful and I will include all of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Thank you for listening to me and for all your kindness and support.

All my best.
